Government Spokesperson Hon. Isaac Mwaura Pays Courtesy Call to Irrigation PS CPA Ephantus Kimotho, CBS

This afternoon, Government Spokesperson Hon. Isaac Mwaura paid a courtesy call to the Principal Secretary for Irrigation, CPA Ephantus Kimotho, CBS, at Maji House.

The meeting focused on the progress of key irrigation projects across the country, with particular emphasis on the Mwache Multipurpose Dam Project in Kwale County, which is currently 36% complete, and the Galana Kulalu project in Kilifi and Tana River Counties.

Hon. Mwaura underscored the Kenya Kwanza government's commitment to enhancing food security through strategic investments in irrigation. He reiterated that irrigation remains a top priority in the administration’s broader agenda of building a food-secure nation.
